How to choose the right neoprene wetsuit?
When we say 4/3mm or 3/2mm or 2/2mm this corresponds to the distribution of the thickness of the neoprene on the surf wetsuit.
In fact, we meticulously choose the distribution of the neoprene to optimize warmth and flexibility and thus promote your performance on the wave.
The lower thickness is located on the upper body: shoulder + arms as well as on the lower legs to promote freedom of movement.
The upper layer is on the rest of the body to promote warmth.
The 4/3mm wetsuit is favorable in water temperatures between 10°C and 14°C .
The 3/2mm wetsuit is favorable between 14°C and 18°C .
The 2/2mm wetsuit is suitable for water temperatures above 18°C.
Obviously external conditions can increase the feeling of cold.
At ONE, we use Japanese YAMAMOTO #40 neoprene . It is eco-responsible because it comes from the purest limestone rock to avoid any use of petrochemical elements.

The surf wetsuit must be in perfect condition, with no signs of wear and the tags still attached.

With these worn out wetsuits, we can either repair them and we will donate them to charity. Either we recycle them into new products to optimize their lifespan!
