A few details about the new suits.

1 year of testing, dozens of feedback sessions and waves surfed to create these new models.

U-zip System

A wider opening between the shoulders for easier access. It's a very thin zip, and this system ensures very limited water entry.

Internal seams

100% of seams taped inside the wetsuit to maximize waterproofing, comfort, and durability.

New pattern

To maximize your comfort (e.g., no seam on the arm that could cause discomfort while paddling).

Japanese Neoprene

Still faithful to Yamamoto neoprene, considered the best in terms of warmth and flexibility.

The 3 Pillars of Wetsuit Repurposing

This approach aligns with our global vision for the lifespan of a wetsuit. We have rethought the purchasing method to optimize performance and budget for everyone.

1. Quality optimization

Some wetsuits only need simple repairs. The neoprene will have lost some flexibility but will still be effective in the water.

2. Attractive prices...

The advantage is the attractive price for a wetsuit. It's ideal if you're starting out without breaking the bank... And you have access to very high-end products.

3. An extended life cycle

This is part of our eco-friendly approach. At the end of its life, we will use the worn neoprene to transform it into a new product (upcycling).

How to choose your wetsuit?

When we say 4/3mm or 3/2mm or 2/2mm, this refers to the distribution of neoprene thickness on the wetsuit.

Indeed, the distribution of neoprene is meticulously chosen to optimize warmth and flexibility, thus enhancing your performance on the wave.

The thinner thickness is found on the upper body: shoulders + arms, as well as on the lower legs to promote freedom of movement.

The thicker thickness is found on the rest of the body to promote warmth.

  • The 4/3mm suit is suitable for water temperatures between 10°C and 14°C.
  • The 3/2mm suit is suitable for temperatures between 14°C and 18°C.
  • The 2/2mm suit is suitable for water temperatures above 18°C.

Naturally, external conditions can increase the sensation of cold.

At ONE, we use YAMAMOTO #40 Japanese neoprene. It is eco-friendly because it is made from the purest limestone to avoid any use of petrochemical elements.

It thus offers the best current performance in terms of:

  1. Warmth
  2. Flexibility
  3. Comfort

We have chosen high-end neoprene without compromising on quality and durability to maximize your performance in the water!
